Let's Keep The Effort Alive
Origomu aims to create a worldwide community, and by helping our planet we are also helping our communities. We are teaching and offering Origomu as a business model for low-income women, designing with recycled materials can be a source of income as well a way to spark creativity and a new outlook in life.
We are currently working with the Country of Ecuador and the Dominican Republic to implement Origomu as a business model for low-income women, using garbage as raw material.
Origomu has offered training workshops at:
- "Club de Madres" (Mom's Club) in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic
- Women of the Bayview Correctional Facility in New York, NY.
This business model can also be applied to other groups such as design schools, non-profit and environmental organizations, cultural institutions and more.
